Steven Bondy is a seasoned workers’ compensation attorney, admitted to the California State Bar in December 2011. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Southwestern Law School in 2011. Prior to forming Bondy Law Group, Inc., Mr. Bondy was a Partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP handling all aspects of Workers’ Compensation. During this career, Mr. Bondy has specialized in defending self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in Workers’ Compensation claims before the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Mr. Bondy regularly speaks at workers’ compensation seminars providing Continuing Education credit to Employers, Risk Managers, Third Party Administrations, and fellow attorneys. His presentations have included topics discussing reducing lien recovery options, SB 863 Lien Reform, Case Law Updates, New Lien Regulations, California Formulary for Medication Impact on Claims, Addressing High Exposure Claims, Qui Tam Litigation in the Workers’ Compensation System, Controlling the Indemnity Line, etc. Mr. Bondy is personally involved in handling all aspects of discovery, including but not limited to taking depositions of injured workers, drafting of medical-legal interrogatories to medical experts, cross-examination of medical experts, attending hearings, and handling vocational rehabilitation matters. Mr. Bondy, handles adjudication of cases up to and including trials before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB). Mr. Bondy has secured multiple take-nothing Awards at Trial and $0.00 Compromise and Release Agreements for clients. In 2020, Mr. Bondy secured a take-nothing Award on a complex workers’ compensation claim with estimated potential exposure exceeding 30 million dollars.
Andre Aladadyan is an associate attorney dedicated to representing employers, insurers, self-insureds, and third-party administrators in the defense of all aspects of workers’ compensation actions in California including representation of employers in matters involving discrimination under Labor Code Section 132a and Serious and Willful Misconduct (Labor Code Section 4553). Daily practice includes handling all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from the simplest matters to complex cases involving multiple parties with structured settlements. Mr. Aladadyan is skilled at managing workers’ compensation claims, to ensure claims are proactively and regularly reevaluated.
For over twenty-five years, Jason has held positions within the Risk and Insurance Industry that exponentially increased his knowledge base and value to the field. As a member of the United States Marine Corps, Jason learned early on the value of dedication, loyalty, and teamwork.
Soon after being honorably discharged in 1997, Jason entered the insurance and risk management industry as security for the San Bernardino Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. From there, he gained a new interest in claims investigations, fraud, and insurance defense. That interest led to becoming a Surveillance and Field Investigator, where Jason worked numerous high value claims, securing facts and evidence that were vital to claims adjudication and trials.
As a licensed California Workers’ Compensation claims examiner at Crum & Forster, Jason personally handled hundreds of lost-time claims, from slip and fall incidents to traumatic brain injuries. In 2007, he identified a jurisdictional issue on a misfiled claim that led to a $300,000 savings.
Jason focuses on bringing a consultative approach to his endeavors, having critical exposure and development experiences in the fields of investigations, Medicare Compliance, insurance claims management, and national brand management. Having been a speaker at over two hundred presentations, Jason enjoys the opportunity to teach and engage provocative thought and learning in others. His presentations have included Surveillance 101, Maximizing Claims Investigations, Ethical Medical Canvassing, and Social Media.
